Thanksgiving

Thanksgiving this year was A LOT of fun! It was awesome to get together as a family but we missed bryan SOOO SOOO much! He is in California living the dream and we hope he had a wonderful thanksgiving as well! Fortunately, he will be coming home for Christmas and we are all excited to see him them... Well, here is our Thanksgiving photo blog....

Coury and Kristin, the Masterminds behind this blog!

Everyone has their own way of killing time before thanksgiving dinner. This year no one was MORE excited to have turkey then Logan and Landon. Each of them would ask grandma, "is the turkey done yet?" about every 3 min haha. They wanted that turkey! OH! and Pumkin Pie! their favorite!

The boys, (dad, jeff C. and Jeff V.) enjoyed watching football and disney movies to pass the time before the turkey was ready! (dad, we havent had turkey yet! Wake up!)

Jenn and Jeff and Landon all enjoyed being with family (logan found a sudden shyness for the camera and booked it when this photo was taken). Jenn made an AWESOME cheezy potatoe dish that was krisitns favorite! Thanks jen!

Did i mention the boys were excited for turkey!? as soon as the table was set they were ready to eat!! "Grandma, is the turkey ready YET?!"

This is our awesome chef, mom! She did an awesome job as usual and had everyone returning for seconds! We appreciate our mom so much! She always makes a wonderful thanksgiving meal! We love you mom!

Utah in the Fall

Mom and Coury took a short and spontaneous trip up to Utah to visit not only me (their favorite daughter jk) but to watch the BYU vs Utah soccer game! I took them up to Alta Utah where I ski to see the beautiful fall colors!! Here are some photos from that trip!!

TVHS POWDER PUFF 2008

It just wouldn't be fall without the annual TVHS Powder Puff Game. Of course, this year was special because it is Coury's senior year and she really wanted to kick junior butt! Luckily for her,,,she DID!! She scored a touchdown and pulled down an interception to help the seniors win the game! She also used her soccer skills to kick an extra point for the final score of Seniors 21- Juniors 7!! Her best friend Kellie Transue sports the intimidating black mask while Coury smiles in victory!

TVHS Homecoming 2008

Yes, Its that time of year. You know, when high school and homecoming happen. This year Coury and Chris attended the Rocky Mountain High School Homecoming Dance in Fort Collins. Pictured above is Coury and her date, Chris. They had a great time, especially going in style in his RED PORSCHE!
Pretty cool huh? Well they looked wonderful and had a great time.

A day at the Museum

What would a family get together do when it rains for 2 solid days!!! Of course, we would go to the museum! Yep, thats where we ended up when our very much awaited trip to Water World was drenched out. But the Denver Museum of Natural History was so fun with lots to see and do. Landon and Logan loved the dinosaurs as you can see from the picture. Kristin and Jeff were here
to enjoy all the fun, they especially enjoyed Imax presentation on Alaska. All in all it was a great day, capped off by a fun dinner at Casa Bonita!!

Hello Family and Friends!!

To catch everyone up....

Mickey and Patty are both in Loveland, Colorado. Nearing an "empty nest" they are busy keeping up with Coury and her many travels! Mom and Dad love to travel the country to watch Coury's soccer tournaments. They frequent Texas, California, and Las Vegas! Woo! They also love to spend time with their grandchildren, Logan and Landon! And of course love to see all of us other kids, Jennifer and Jeff V., Bryan, Kristin and Jeff C.

Coury is experiencing the best years of her life. A senior at Thompson Valley High School, she is already looking toward college! Coury is of course busy with Soccer, traveling the country to compete. She is on the Arsenal Gold team which is a nationally competitive team. Her team just recently won the Arsenal Tournament. Coury is hoping to play soccer in college and is currently being recruited by many schools! Coury also enjoys teen life, spending time with friends. She also spends her time rock climbing, long boarding, and snowboarding.

Bryan just moved to Los Angeles, California and has many doors opening for him. He is currently interviewing for a variety of jobs and is putting his amazing artistic skills to the test! He loves the California lifestyle and the new experiences he is having. We sure miss Bryan but we know he is having a blast in Cali!

Jennifer, Jeff, Logan and Landon are currently in Windsor, Colorado. Jenn and the boys are enjoying their summer vacation playing in parks and swimming. Logan is now in the first grade and Landon is entering Preschool. We love to watch them grow up. Logan and Landon love transformers and NASCAR! Jeff is playing softball this summer and has games several times a week. They sure are a busy family!!

Jeff and Kristin got married in Oct 2007 and life has been fast forward ever since. They currently live in Salt Lake City, UT. Kristin is in school for biology at Salt Lake Community College and will be attending the University of Utah in the Spring of 09. Kristin is working at Willow Creek Pet Center as a boarding technician. Basically, she cares for dogs and cats while people are on vacation. Jeff graduated from the University of Utah this spring and is currently applying to graduate schools. Jeff currently works for a bioengineering company called Amedica. If they are not busy with school and work, Jeff and Kristin are skiing, climbing, and spending time in the Utah Mountains.
